Savannah History Museum is next door to the Visitor Center and newcomers to the city are encouraged to visit this lovely historic building, housed in the old Central of Georgia Railway passenger shed.  Here you can brush up on Savannah History with film and numerous exhibits and prepare yourself for your tour of the city.   The famous Bird Girl Statue from the popular novel "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" is now located at the Museum.
