City MarketCity Market Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) Today's City Market sits on one of Savannah's oldest squares on the site of the Old City Market established in the eighteenth century. Parts of the original market were demolished, however a substantial area was spared and restored and has become one of the city's most vibrant areas for restaurants, nightclubs, shops and art galleries. The uppermost level contains the studios of over 35 local sculptors, potters, painters, wood carvers, designers, and photographers. Savannah's City Market is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike offering fine dining and nightlife. It's a great place for shopping, eating and taking in the sites. Many events are held here as well. City Market is located between Franklin Square and Johnson Square on W. St. Julian St. Top of PageDo you know of a Place that should be included here?
